Commandments of the Master Mind was first published at our old site and is included in The Black Book of the Master Mind 5th ed.

I feel these rules of thumb are very applicable today and not just in the U.S.

  1. Become as self-reliant as possible.
  2. Concentrate on a few investments and hedge them.
  3. Learn a little about a lot.
  4. Anticipate enemies to derelict their duties to bait, slander and discourage you.
  5. Network, although networking isn’t working.
  6. If you lack IQ and/or experience, follow your boss or mentor closely.
  7. Invest assets, time and energy in the path of growth.
  8. Listen to well-reasoned paranoia, source documents and deja vous. Not professors.
  9. Write down any hard and fast rules up there with MJ DeMarco’s 5 commandments.
  10. “I have to stay retarded longer than they can stay solvent.”
  11. Lazy people will consistently circumvent rules and procedures. Also, don’t be the exception to the rule guy.
  12. Avoid reality-jerkit-court-of-public-opinion. You’ll lose.
  13. Market makers COULD potentially mess up returns.
  14. Don’t have a portfolio made up of takeover targets, dividend traps, companies with obsolete patents and pseudo government stocks.
  15. UBL or vouchers for expenses should prevent riots over income disparity. (Similar to UBL.)
  16. Education is free because the student is the product.
  17. Young competent students can come out of college and rather than be a finance whiz or technology titan, be a wet nurse, like the one in Atlas Shrugged.

Next, see our Bookstore, especially if you haven’t read Atlas Shrugged.
